One book, many communities: Minor Detail (follow up discussion)

Join us as we discuss the International Booker Prize Finalist Minor Detail by Adania Shibli! This novel tells the story of a Bedouin girl raped and killed by Israeli soldiers in 1949, and the young woman in present-day Ramallah determined to learn more about what happened to her.It’s ok if you haven’t finished the novel but be prepared to discuss the story and it relates to the history and current realities of Palestine and Israel. This event is being held in collaboration with Librarians and Archivists with Palestine’s “One Book, Many Communities” campaign.
