COVID-19 protocol
In an effort to make this conference safe and accessible for everyone in our community, including elders, people with disabilities and immunocompromised people, IJV is strongly encouraging all attendees to wear a mask on site.
Masks will be provided at the conference welcoming table, and hand sanitizer will be made available throughout the venue.

The conference will take place in English. If you require simultaneous interpretation in French, please contact conference@ijvcanada.org and we will do our best to arrange it.
Photography and video
IJV has one official photographer and one official videographer who will both be documenting the conference. The videographer will just be videotaping the presenters in the panel discussions and keynote. Your photo may be taken on site and used for promotional purposes by IJV. If you would prefer to not have your photo taken at the conference, please email conference@ijvcanada.org and let us know.
We ask all conference participants to use discretion when taking your own photos or videos, and to ask for someone’s consent if they appear in your photos or videos.
Additionally, we ask that participants not take photos or video in the workshops unless they get the explicit consent of everyone in the room.
Ticket price
In an effort to make the conference accessible to everyone regardless of income level, we have several different tiers of ticket prices, including single-day passes, and a low-income/student ticket at a 50% discount. If you’d like to attend, but can’t afford the low-income ticket, you can write to us at conference@ijvcanada.org to request a Pay What You Can ticket or a fee waiver.
