On Wednesday, January 27th, the Montreal borough council of Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (CDN-NDG) will be voting on a motion to adopt the dangerously misleading International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.
Far from protecting Jews against real antisemitism, the IHRA definition only serves to conflate antisemitism with criticism of Israel, thereby silencing Palestinian human rights activism.
Take action now! Send an email to borough Mayor Sue Montgomery and CDN-NDG councillors telling them to fight antisemitism, but not with the IHRA!
